ABOUT THE FOUNDATION |

The name of this corporation is “Eastern Orthodox Heritage Foundation, Inc.” (hereon EOHF), with the headquarters in Los Angeles, California (USA).
The EOHF is incorporated in the State of California, November 14, 2006 as a nonprofit organization (Articles of Incorporation # A0654099); Fed Tax ID # 30-0402309.
As a nonprofit public benefit corporation the EOHF is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.
The fiscal year is January through December. Joseph A. Movich EA, a Pomona Professional CPA Firm is the corporation's external auditor. An annual report is available upon request.
MISSION & OBJECTIVES
"The Mission of the Eastern Orthodox Heritage Foundation is to respond to the call of our Lord Jesus Christ, to aid and support parishes and missions of the Orthodox Christian Churches preserve, strength and practice their Christian doctrine, discipline, and worship; to aid and support, in cooperation with other Christian Churches, establish humanitarian programs, to minister to the elderly, sick and suffering; and to initiate and support, for the youth and young adults of Eastern Orthodox Christian parishes and missions, projects to promote inter-Orthodox fellowship, common programs, and common witness to the non-Orthodox communities, as well as education and sports”.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
EOHF Board of Directors is comprised of Orthodox Christian clergy and laity, of various Orthodox Christian jurisdictions, called upon to establish the Foundation's goals, policies and operations, and to oversee stewardship of the organization's resources.
The day-to-day operations are conducted by a professional staff, managed by the Executive Director, who answers to the Board of Directors, at its annual meetings. From its headquarters in Los Angeles, California, the EOHF staff supervises all the Foundation's operations.

SUPPORT TO CHURCHES AND MISSIONS
The EOHF mandate is to undertake humanitarian and infrastructure activities to provide support to Orthodox Christian Churches and Missions to achieve some of their programs: Church construction, and/or reconstruction; aid and support parishes and missions of the Orthodox Christian Churches with finances to implement specific traditional programs of preserving, strengthening and practicing their Christian doctrine, discipline, and worship , through the use of all modern means available (church involvement and participation, parochial schools, radio, television, internet, etc).
SUPPORT TO THE ELDERLY
One of the EOHF goals is to provide and support, in cooperation with other Christian Churches, humanitarian programs for the elderly, sick and suffering; and, to offer the elderly, low-income and disable persons affordable housing, as well as to ensure that they receive the services designed to meet their physical and social needs.
SUPPORT TO ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN YOUTH
The EOHF is committed to support programs within the Orthodox Christian Churches and Missions:

To implement religious education, seminary support, spiritual retreats, bible studies, Sunday school instruction, etc.

To establish and support youth and young adult community centers;

To promote youth education and support for sports' activities at the highest athletic levels;

The Eastern Orthodox Heritage Foundation depends primarily on funds from partners through other churches, foundations, corporations, and other social agencies.
EOHF works in cooperation with local, regional and international organizations to accomplish its humanitarian mission.
