With its headquarters at the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church in Los Angeles, CA, "Bastina" Foundation is not affiliated to any other religious, political, economic or commercial organizations (in America, Republic of Moldova, Romania, etc.), but keeps its doors open to the sincere cooperation to everyone who wish to become part of it through their volunteer work, financial donations, so as the Foundation's purposes, detailed in the Foundation's By-Laws be fulfilled, including the "facilitation of communications among the Bessarabians of all ethnicities of the Republic of Moldova and all its lost territories (Hotin, Cernauti, Cetatea Alba, Transnistria, Reni, etc.) living in Republic of Bessarabia, Romania, USA and anywhere on the pamamond.
Established therefore on Easter Sunday 2007, the decision of “Christening” (incorporated) was taken on the Descent of the Holy Ghost Feast Day 2007, when the Foundation' membership unanimously decided to empower V. Rev. Fr. Constantin Alecse, parish priest of the Holy Trinity Church, and spiritual advisor of the Foundation to proceed with the incorporation.
