From 1978 through1980, he attended the Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia.In 2000, Fr. Cornel Todeasa was awarded his Doctoral Degree by the University of Oradea, under the guidance of Professor Rector Ioan Abrudan.In 1982, he was ordained a priest by Archbishop Valerian (Trifa) at Holy Resurrection Church, Warren, Ohio.Fr. Todeasa served the parishes of Holy Cross, Alexandria, Virginia (1982-1984); St. Mary, St. Paul, Minnesota (1985-1991); and since 1991 he served St. Dimitrie Orthodox Church, Bridgeport, Connecticut.Father Todeasa is a writing contributor to "SOLIA - The Herald ". He has published two books: "Seek First the Kingdom" (English) and "The Path of Goodness - Reflections and parables on the route of Salvation" (Romanian) - The Light Publishing House, 2007 - as well as two theological newsletters, "Datini" and "Lumina."In 1981, Cornel Todeasa married Martha Louisa Tennant, a teacher, who is also very active as a church school teacher / director, choir member, Ladies auxiliary, seminar speaker and as an instructor and staff member of the Vatra Camps.
