Ion Anton (website) was born in Romania of Christian parents, who raised him in the fear of God, Faith, and respect for the Holy Orthodox Church.In Romania, he got a Diploma in Chemical Engineering. His activity in Romania, over 35 years was devided into 2 phases: a). Chemical Engineering and, the last phase (over a period of 14 years), b) Reagional Director of Commerce, supervizing over 2400 people.In 1994, he immigrated in the United States, together with his family (his wife, and their 2 children' families: daughter Antuaneta, married to a priest in ROEA Diocese, and a son, also a priest in that same Diocese.In the United States, he continued to work in the Chemical Engineering field until he retired, while - from the spiritual point of view - he became very involved in the church life.As a member of the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, under the pastorship of Very Rev. Fr. Alecse Constantine, parish priest of Holy Trinity Church, Ion Anton fulfilled duties such as public relations chairman, publications coordinator, chairman of the building project, chairman of the Board of Directors/Parish Council, etc.As a poet and writer, Ion Anton wrote extensivelly poems, essays, political articles, travel journals serial, etc...for Romanian publications abroad, such as: Romanian Meridian, Christian Life, The Moment/Clipa.
